Nicole believes that trust is one of the most important aspects of having a therapeutic relationship, being able to identify individual goals, and meeting people where they are in life. She has had the opportunity to travel and work with people of many different cultures.
She understands that individuals need to heal in their own time. She provides compassion, empathy, and overall understanding in all matters that her clients bring to her.
Nicole was raised in Lansing and earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University (2013). She is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW). Nicole has been working in the Lansing area for years and in a variety of environments such as, Child Protective Services, Family Court, residential for children, substance abuse counseling, criminal justice system, and mental health.
Nicole has experience in facilitating group and individual therapy with substance abuse, mental health, and adolescent concerns.
