William received his Bachelor of Social Work from Ferris State University and his Masters in Social Work from Grand State University. Throughout his career, he has worked in both rural and urban environments and held several roles including home-based therapy, crisis response, and outpatient and group therapy. William has worked with a diverse array of people from different walks of life, each struggling with their own unique and complex concerns.
William employs a down-to-earth, intuitive, and relatable approach to therapy. He provides a nonjudgmental and comforting environment where clients can work through the challenging circumstances life has thrown at them. Through trust, empathy and insight William helps clients thrive under life’s most challenging circumstances. He has experience helping clients with depression, divorce, trauma, and suicidal thoughts. William addresses these struggles with a direct, and honest approach while maintaining respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
William grew up in rural Michigan, and has since resided in urban areas including East Lansing, and Grand Rapids. In his spare time William enjoys reading, writing, collecting antiques, culinary arts, health and fitness, exploring the country, and spending time with his Great Pyrenees, Alex.
