Ashley Yost, LLPC

Biography

Ashley is a dedicated and compassionate Limited License Professional Counselor (LLPC) who graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University and received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University. She completed her internship at a nonprofit organization while she was living in North Carolina. She worked with kids and teenagers, along with their family members, in an intensive in-home setting where she encountered a range of cases varying from those who suffered from acute traumas to those who had been experiencing trauma for years.

Ashley is passionate about delivering high quality mental health care to children and adolescents using evidence-based practices tailored to each child’s needs and strengths. She strives to show up as her authentic self, and believes people thrive when they feel genuinely seen and heard. Ashley is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for kids and teens to explore and address their mental health concerns.

With a client-centered approach, Ashley modifies her interventions to meet the unique needs of each child or adolescent, fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship. Her empathetic nature and commitment to ongoing professional development ensure that she stays informed about the latest advancements in the field.

Ashley’s goal is for each child and teen to experience positive change, fueled by transformative power of someone taking the time to engage in their world. She believes that every child and adolescent deserves a chance to heal, and she would be honored to be the one to walk with them along that journey.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with friends as well as relaxing with her two pups.
