Biography

Savannah (she/her) is compassionate and dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges while creating a safe space with empathy and understanding. She spends time in creating a healing space with each client by developing trust and rapport with clients.

Savannah recognizes that everyone’s experiences are unique in how they process feelings, thoughts, and behavior. Understanding the intersectionality of identities, Savannah takes a holistic approach to therapy, considering the cultural, social, and personal factors that shape an individual’s experiences. She believes in the inherent strength of her clients and works collaboratively with them to develop personalized strategies for coping, healing, and personal growth.

Savannah received her Bachelor’s of Social Work from Auburn University and Master’s of Clinical Social Work from University of Georgia. She has experience with women’s issues, sexual assault, domestic violence and trauma. Savannah is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, an evidence-based approach to treating trauma and anxiety. Savannah is also trained in Cognitive Processing (CPT) therapy and Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) therapy.

Outside of her professional life, Savannah loves traveling and enjoys spending quality time with her husband and kitties! She will most often be seen at the sewing machine making some sort of craft!
